Communauté d'agglomération du Pays Rochefortais

Communauté d'agglomération du Pays Rochefortais, the authority organising public transport, organises and funds public transport in the Rochefort district.  

Within the scope of a public service delegation contract (DSP), it has tasked Veolia Transport Pays Rochefortais, a subsidiary of Veolia Transdev, with the operation and management of the R'bus network.

The R'bus network connects 18 towns and villages belonging to Pays Rochefortais.


Veolia Transport Pays Rochefortais (VTPR) is a subsidiary of the Veolia Transdev group in charge of operating the R'bus urban transport network on behalf of Communauté d'agglomération du Pays rochefortais (CAPR), within the scope of a public service delegation contract (DSP).
The partnership between VTPR and CAPR has resulted in a new R'bus network, in operation since 1st September 2010.

R'bus currently offers the population of Communauté d'agglomération du Pays rochefortais:

  • 8 urban lines
  • 2 school lines
  • 1 Sunday line: Line H outgoing - Line H return
  • 1 transport on demand service  (Tic'TAD)
  • 1 transport service for reduced mobility persons (Tic'TPMR)
  • 1 bike hire service
